Church History

All glory, praise, and honor to the our Heavenly Father for allowing First Baptist Gloverville to minister to the people in the Gloverville community for 114 years. Praise be to God! Gloverville First has a reputation for preaching the Word of God.

The church building, itself, is beautifully planted within the heart of The Valley to help reach people for the cause of Christ.


Mission Statement

This is a conservative Southern Baptist Church that has a goal of reaching the community as their field and the world as their mission. We have a desire to train the people of God to walk a spiritual walk and to fight the good fight of faith as we minister to the people around us and before us. It is our goal to win as many people as possible to the cause of Christ so that we might make as many people our brothers and sisters in the Lord.

Church Vision

To those within the community we are considered a community of believers that will remain dedicated to building believers and trusting in the Lord. We envision a state of the art concrete-and-mortar base as well as a ministry that exceeds normal expectations of the world around us. To those in-need we must become their trust as they look for leadership and guidance in this dark world.
